Internationalise your language with Artificial Intelligence (AI) Level B2 - C1
in person

Do you want to improve your English and wonder how AI can help you?

Are you sometimes unsure when you have to write emails in English or translate website texts? Would you like to be better prepared for conversations with international students, guest lecturers or experts? Do you find it difficult to switch into English when there are meeting participants who speak little or no German?

We will look at the strengths and weaknesses of AI tools for translating and proofreading texts as well as for simulating conversations in everyday university life. We will practice the correct formulation of prompts so that AI can be a valuable support to your work in an internationalised higher education institution.

Methods: This half-day workshop will be held in person. Please bring a laptop with you. You will work in plenary sessions and in small groups of two or three. You will carry out small translations, proofreading and conversation simulation tasks and discuss the results in the group. The course materials will enable you to prepare, follow up and continue practicing after the course.

Target Group: admin staff
